I like their unusual gifts and the meat selection is awesome. I stop in everytime I am in Lake City. It is located right off if I75.

Best meat available! I went here to purchase some ground beef on the recommendation of a stranger. I have bought cakes here before and my husband absolutely loves them! I am generally not a meat fan, especially beef--- but --- when I cooked the burgers with only salt/pepper, they were simply delicious! I am shocked at how fresh and clean the meat tasted. They were so delicious that I ended up eating them the next night as well. I should note these were the 93% lean and were still surprisingly moist! This is now the ONLY place I will buy meat. If their hamburger is that good, then I'm certain they will have other fresh meats as well!

Found this great place while traveling. The food is excellent and they have some fun food and gift shopping too. The cakes look amazing- homemade and 10 layers. I had the caprese sandwich and grape salad as a side. My husband had the Reuben, which is always a favorite. Our daughter had the 3 cheese panini. We all enjoyed every bite. Definitely worth stopping in!

We discovered this place while traveling to see our new granddaughter in North West Florida.... we were wowed! What a cute lil market! All the meat sold there is by local cattle farms ... keeping agriculture alive at the local level!!! They have everything from bath & body care to boiled peanuts! Locally baked breads, prepared casseroles to take home and bake, desserts, veggies, a small children's section, an area for bbq stuff like wood chips, tools, etc. refrigerated wines. Teas and coffees that you won't find at your local grocery store. A open heated area where you can find already prepared sausages (which were super delish) , pork loin wrapped in bacon, brisket, etc. Different types of salts and seasonings. Interesting finds for sure. Then thru a side door was cute lil cafe.... not a huge menu but big enough to give you options. Everyone was so friendly and inviting. The restroom was clean and well maintained. So glad to have found this spot.... we grabbed a few already prepared dishes to snack on while traveling.... everything was so good. We travel to NWF a lot so this WILL be added to our route for sure. We loved reading about the family that owns it and totally support how they have implemented themselves into this community. If you're ever in or passing or by Lake City Florida.... do yourself a favor and stop in to have a bite to eat or buy goodies for the road. It's truly a part of southern hospitality. An amazing lunch spot in Lake City Florida! Great food, fair price and very nice crew!!

My favorite fresh market , locally sorced and reasonably priced. Absolutely love this hidden gem! Artsian goat milk lotions are amazing!!

This is probably the closest to The Fresh Market or Whole Foods as you're going to get around here. The parking lot and outside are deceptive. It reminds me of an old ihop. Pleasantly surprised walking in. You get the "organic" "hipster" "I'm going to over pay" vibe. It's very inviting. I was greeted by the trendy aprons, bamboo cutting boards, organic jars of honey, grown local, farm to tableish (higher priced than it should be) items. They almost had me! I wanted to buy one of everything. It's all so nice!! Past that and you come to the most AMAZING meat section. I believe all of the beef is 100% locally grown. Most, if not all of the meat is organic, hormone free, or something healthy like that. I bought a pack of 2 decent sized New York strips that were on clearance for like $3.99...entire package not per lb.!!! The selection of fruits and vegetables is as impressive. They carry a lot of staples for the pantry, refrigerator and OMG THE FREEZER! They carry frozen entrees from a local restaurant, Chasteens!!! Baked Spaghetti, Chicken Broccoli and Rice and the MOST AMAZING Chicken Tetrazzini you've ever had!!! Actually you can order these ahead of time and they will heat it for you adding veggies and bread. I think you can choose 4 or 6 servings. ** Overall the staff is great, it's very clean, they have a decent variety of food and the ambiance is relaxing. Just being in their store or food boutique makes you feel healthier and like you could just go hug trees or something :)

Every time I come into town from Jacksonville I end up passing this cute little place in Lake City. Every time I pass it I'm so curious as to what they offer and finally one day I decided to wander in. I wish I could've seen the look on my face as I walked through the doors... it was beautiful. It's not your typical grocery store. They have everything from wine, candles, fruits, vegetables, meats, candies, organic options, bread, IPA craft beers, raw honey in many flavors, amazing jams and pickled everything. They have a separate deli area to go in and get a sandwich made next to a hydroponic vegetable garden!!! So cool! If it's your first time going in trust me it will take you a bit to get around the whole entire store because you want to look at every single product they offer. The staff was so friendly and so welcoming and made it very easy to have a conversation with! I am so excited to return!! I felt like a kid In candy shop!!

I love getting groceries here, the meat is always very good. They also now have fresh salmon which is so much better then the stuff at Publix. Only downfall is the produce is usually on the verge of going bad. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I can taste the difference in the meat bought at Fifth Generation compared to other stores. My favorite are the boneless chicken breast. I would expect to pay more for the higher quality but have not found that to be the case. How can you go wrong getting higher quality for a lower price ? Love the friendly faces always eager to help. If you haven't shopped here I highly recommend giving it a chance.
